Technical Writer

Job description: At Pay Less/Buy More - we believe in using the same cutting-edge - and low-cost - technology we sell. Therefore, we are constantly in need of documentation for our ever-changing corporate communications systems. This job involves working closely with the engineers who qualify new technology for our use, as well as interfacing with outside vendors whose technology we choose to beta-test for potential future use.

Requirements: Demonstrated skills in writing technical documentation involving communications issues. Related degree (electrical engineering, computer programming, English, journalism or creative writing) definitely preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of page-layout software a plus. Flexibility a must-have.

Sales Manager

Job description: Responsible for selling the Pay Less/Buy More concept in the greater New York City area.  Reports to regional manager of East Coast operations. Develops relationships with existing outlet centers and malls, as well as working to create relationships with retail centers to expand Pay Less/Buy More "store within a store" sales opportunities.

Requirements: Demonstrated experience in selling technical products in bulk. Presentation skills. Ability to demonstrate not only technical products themselves, but also their effective marketing in a variety of settings.

Financial Analyst

Job description: Work directly with the manager of the finance department to analyze monthly sales reports for trends. Develop new and imaginative ways of viewing company sales data and work with in-house technical/IS staff to implement them.

Requirements: Degree in finance, plus two or more years in a finance-related position. Must be adept with spreadsheet software. Prior work in a similar position for a company that uses a client-server data warehousing approach a plus.
