Day #1 in France We are going on a three-day pilgrimage to Pariz - Chapitre. During that time, we will walk 100 kilometers, sleep in a tent, and eat canned food. This is the first time in the history of the entire procession that an organized group of pilgrims from Croatia is coming.All in honor of Our Lady. Pray that we endure.

World Day of Cultural Diversity occurred just yesterday, and it was an opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of cultural diversity's values and learn to live together in harmony and cohesion. But, more so, it allowed me to reflect on my cultural heritage.🌍 Coming from my Caribbean livelihood, more specifically Anguilla, I have continued to maintain and embed my cultural values and experiences within the spaces I enter and ultimately being unapologetically myself. However, if you ask me about what I enjoy most about my cultural background, there are two key things: Food 🥘 - authentic Anguillian food (something I have missed dearly since moving to the UK). My absolute favourite food is boiled dumplings and stew chicken. My mum knows it is always on request for my birthday meal. Music 🥁 - Soca music is near and dear to my heart. When that rhythm hits, you cannot help but MOVE! Side note: Anguilla Day is coming up on the 30th of May, and this is an important day for Anguillians near and far to continue cultural traditions and values and observe our national sport with our prestigious Anguilla Day boat racing competition around the island.🇦🇮 Cultural diversity is so rich, and I have enjoyed reading and seeing how people show up and learning about the nuances of different people's cultural backgrounds.What is one thing from your culture you embed regularly? 🤔 #CulturalDiversity #MyHeritage #Caribbean #AXA #Anguillian #Food #Music
